My current DA2 champion, Valeria Hawke, mage and head over heels in love with Fenris - who just dumped her in the game XD
I still have the plan to draw all my DAO and DA2 Wardens and Champions ^^" So here is my mage character :3 Valeria.
I am not able to decide with if my DA2 Champions is my favourite since I love them all. Valeria is a mage who hates being a mage. She would rather be everything but born with magic. She lives in constant fear of the Templars and would turn herself in to the Circle of Magi the moment she would feel the corruption of demons grow within her.
Fenris, BioWare's hot new elf, approves of her attitude XD He never liked my former champions because they were all more or less mage-supporting... Valeria isn't ^^""
I tried to draw Hightown Market in the background... I don't know if you can recognize it... The design of the dress Valeria is wearing is from the game itself. I love it :3 Whenever I am not in battle she is wearing it... once I head to missions she got another (uglier robe) with better stats... but no need to run around Kirkwall in lousy robes... it's Hawke we're talking about XD and she might not like what she is, but she will never dress poorly in public XDD

Love that background...it adds so much character and atmosphere. I like how it's just soft enough to not clash with the foreground/characters, but it is still very lush and detailed. I really like the moss on the bricks!
They look great! Again, I'm loving what you're doing with the outfits -- they look so detailed and interesting, but not distractingly over-rendered. I love how there are varieties of textures -- the gold line pattern on her outfit is soft to show its sewn into the fabric as opposed to the boldly gold/metallic elements. I love the armor textures on his armor a lot, too -- I really like how you're rendering the metallic shines.
The hair is really pretty! I love the highlights throughout both of their hair -- both the more boldly painted highlight lines, and the highlights formed from the colored elements having lighter and more saturated areas. I really like her hair a lot -- it stood out even from the thumbnail and looks great.
I think this is another example of the great things you're doing with expressions lately -- her expression seems so ALIVE. I love her small smile, her soft blush, and her vibrant eyes. I love how you can see the interest in Fenris in her eyes. I think her left (our right) eye is a little bigger or differently shaped than the other one, but even so I am suuuuper impressed by how emotive and lifelike they are. Awesome.
His expression and face doesn't grab me as much, but I like it anyway. I like his small, friendly smile -- he's not trying to look cool and badass and brooding -- his smile is kind and genuine, which I think is awesome. I kinda like the shape/contour of his face, too -- the nose seems a little exaggerated, which gives him a neat, unique look and character.

Awesome work, chen-friend. : )
The outfits are BioWare's concept, so I can't take that credit. But I'm happy you like the way I drew the clothes
And again, your comment makes me so happy and is a real ego-boost XD thank you so much!!
Love the shines btw >w<
And thank you
